
The toaster PICT files were extracted from the original After Dark 2.0 extension using ResEdit running on the Infinite Macintosh.
To improve the rendering speed, the display is only refreshed every 128 frames. This leaves visible smearing as the toasters fly across the screen. This is what computing was like in 1984.
